The Process: From Referral to First Ride

Identify a Potential Candidate
Does the child demonstrate interest in riding? Is a traditional bicycle not accessible? Will an adaptive tricycle support functional goals?

Complete a Trike Evaluation
Determine the tricycle size, specialized supports, and model needed. Should you have questions, reach out through our contact page and we’ll connect you with someone from our team.

Complete a Trial, If Needed
Coordinate with the TRAID center should a trial be needed.

Complete the Therapist Portion of the Application.
Select the type of trike, size, and customizations.

Application Review & Funding Process
A team member may reach out to you with questions regarding the applicant. You can help fundraise by sharing the personalized page created for the child.

Trike Delivery, Assembly & Fitting
Attend the delivery of the trike, if able, to learn how to operate the trike and how to make adjustments. Trikes can be utilized at school, if needed.

Although not required, we welcome related service providers to volunteer with our organization.
